Katie King
MSc.- Research Associate
Katie is a marine biologist with a strong passion for conservation and environmental stewardship. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology, with minors in Chemistry and Psychology, from Utah State University, followed by a master’s degree in Marine Systems and Policies from the University of Edinburgh. At ilili, Katie applies her expertise to fingerprinting spotted eagle rays in the Bay Islands of Honduras, where she loves deepening her knowledge of these remarkable creatures. Her work is driven by a commitment to marine conservation, citizen science, and combating climate change.
